ARCTIC MONKEYS COVER THE BEATLES IN NYC

To mark exactly 50 years since the Beatles’ seminal performance on Ed Sullivan’s show, the Arctic Monkeys performed a cover of All My Loving at their Madison Square Garden show. Very nice too. CS

Darlene Love- All Alone on Christmas

This has become one of my favourite Christmas songs over the past few years (and obviously I love Home Alone 2) but it’s only now I discover that it’s written and arranged by Stevie Van Zandt and featuring most of the E Street Band!

Love this. Definitely one of my favourite songs of 2013… Even just for the first 5 seconds…

Haim- The Wire

Sam Moore & Lou Reed (!?) - Soul Man

Lou Reed I love you. This is why I love evenings spent trawling youtube for music…

Bruce and The E Street Band put together Chuck Berry’s ‘You Never Can Tell’ on the spot and boy do they let it blast… This is great.

And Romeo had Juliette, and Juliette had her Romeo…

Paul Simon- The Sound of Silence

Hyde Park 2012

This is the third of these I’ve posted. Still amazing. And love Black Thought’s updated final verse…

I absolutely love this… After Little Stevie’s star-turn in Lilyhammer, The E Street Band kick off their Oslo gig in Style…
